OpenChrom is available for various operating systems.
Downloads for other operating systems and processor architectures:
The download has a size of approximately ~80 MB.
Note, Java 7 (JRE or JDK) (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html) must be installed before running OpenChrom.
Highlights of the new version 0.7.0:
> Chromatogram file format

OpenChrom supports a file format (*.ocb) to store the chromatographic data, the detected and identfied peaks as well as the edit log now. The format is binary and thus has a small overhead. Hence it's much more efficient than a XML based format. Moreover, the format converter is published under an open source license. There is no vendor-lock-in.
> Display of heatmaps

Did you searched about an easy way to create a heatmap of a chromatogram? Here it is. Just load the chromatogram and select the chromatogram heatmap view. The chromatogram selection will displayed. You can copy the heatmap using the screenshot camera icon in the toolbar.
> Shared evaluation of chromatographic data

The OpenChrom file format (*.ocb) enables to share results with other scientists or to prepare chromatograms for verification and storage in an archive. The format makes it also possible to work in a distributed environment. All results are stored in the chromatogram and can be used for reporting or just to view the selected and identified peaks.
> Display selected peak

A feature request of several users is part of the community edition now. The selected peak will be displayed in the chromatogram editor. Edit the settings to switch this feature off, if don't like it.
> Reporting

A powerful new feature has been added to create various reports. Now it's possible to create user specific reports. There is a report available to export chromatograms, peaks and identification results to ASCII text format. But it could be also feasible to export peaks and mass spectra to PDF format or to other formats.
> Peak perspective

The peak perspective arranges all necessary views to review detected and identified peaks. All views will be updated when selecting a peak in the peak list. The new version makes it also possible to delete peaks and peak identification results. Just select the peaks or identification results and press the delete button to remove them.
